The Lumatek HPS 250W 240V Lamp has been designed to be used with a Lumatek 250W 240V electronic ballast and is manufactured using high quality ceramic arc tube technology with a specific blend of horticultural gases that creates optimal spectral output for healthy growth and prosperous of plants. The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, increasing color rendering, yield and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with chemicals within the tube which stabilizes the chemical mixture throughout the life of the lamp, thereby improving color consistency and maintaining PAR / PPF level. Pulse start technology allows for faster start-up and restart times, longer lamp life and higher lumen maintenance.
